Kardow is now an app : get notifications on your phone
- Kardow is on the App Store and on Google Play. Free with every plan, signed in with the account you already have. Get it here, or scan the code in the sidebar of your dashboard.
- The point of it is push notifications. A job board does not tell you when it needs you. Until now the only way to find out that an employer was waiting on approval, or that a post had been paid for, was to check your emails or open the dashboard. Your phone now tells you.
- A job was posted. Whether an employer submitted it or your scraper pulled it in, you hear about it as it lands.
- Someone is waiting on you. Employer and candidate accounts that need approving reach you straight away, rather than sitting in a queue until you next sign in. On most boards this is the alert that pays for itself, because an employer who waits two days for approval usually does not come back.
- You got paid. A payment for a job post, a directory listing or a plan pings your phone as it clears.
- A message came in. Chat from the people using your board, answered from wherever you are.
- Each of those is its own switch. Take the payment alerts and leave the rest if that is what you want. Turn a category off and it stops, on that device, straight away.
- It is not a notifications app with a dashboard bolted on. Jobs, users, payments and chat are all there: approve an account, post or edit a job, read what someone applied with, see what came in this week. Tapping a notification opens the exact thing it is about, not the home screen.
