What people ask before they move.
- Which platforms can I move from?
- Any platform that can export a spreadsheet. The people importer takes CSV, TSV or JSON, recognises common columns on its own and understands other platforms’ wording, so "candidate" becomes a job seeker and "employer" a business. Onboarding also recognises boards running on Niceboard, JBoard, SmartJobBoard, Jobboardly and others, and reads their jobs in.
- Do my members need new passwords?
- No. Kardow boards have no passwords. Everyone signs in with a 6-digit code sent to their email, so an imported member signs in with the address they already use, the first day the new board is live.
- What happens to employers who pay me a subscription?
- They can keep paying. Create a plan paid through your own payment link, send them there, and mark each payment as paid when the money arrives. New buyers can check out by card through your own Stripe account. Payment links come with the Scale plan.
- Will the people I import get emails straight away?
- No. Nothing is sent during the import. If you subscribe people to job alerts, the list is checked first, leaving out addresses that bounced before, domains that cannot receive email and shared inboxes. Each person then gets one welcome email, spread over several days, and alerts start once they respond.
- Can I do the move in stages?
- Yes. Import people again with "Update existing users" on and matching rows are updated instead of duplicated. Companies can be re-imported the same way, and jobs read from your current board stay in sync daily while both boards run.
