## How Google actually publishes this

Google's region availability list mixes two styles in six bullets, which is why the question is so hard to answer. Three regions are enumerated country by country, so a country missing from the list is a documented absence. Three are covered wholesale with the phrase "Available in the entire region", so every country in them qualifies without being named. One region, Oceania, does not appear on the list at all.

That last point is worth stating plainly, because it surprises people. As of September 8, 2026, the most recent update to Google's own page, **Australia and New Zealand are not named and Oceania is not listed as a region**. We report that as undocumented rather than as a no. Google makes no claim either way, and pretending otherwise would be exactly the kind of guess that gets copied between blog posts until nobody can trace it.

The last column is the part Google's list cannot tell you: whether you can actually take money from employers there. ## What to do if Google for Jobs is not available in your country

Add the structured data anyway. This is the part most advice gets wrong: JobPosting markup is not a Google for Jobs feature that switches off outside supported countries. It is how ordinary Google Search understands what the page is, it feeds other consumers including AI answers and aggregators, and it means that the day Google adds your country you are eligible immediately instead of starting a project.

Then win the traffic the way boards in unsupported markets already do. Find the two or three aggregators that dominate locally and get your listings syndicated into them. Build the employer-brand and salary pages that rank in your language, where the competition is thinner than it is in English. And treat email and community as first-class distribution rather than as a fallback, because a board that never depended on one Google surface is not exposed when that surface changes.

## Method, and where it is uncertain

The country lists are transcribed from Google's JobPosting structured data documentation, not from other articles. Several widely cited lists elsewhere are years out of date. Google's page carried a last-updated stamp of September 8, 2026 when we read it on September 19, 2026, and we recheck it monthly.

One honest caveat. Google names the regions but never publishes which countries it counts in each, so for the three regions covered wholesale the country membership is our assignment rather than Google's. A handful of countries are genuinely ambiguous in any regional scheme: Turkey, Sudan and the Caucasus states all sit on a boundary, and a different but equally defensible grouping would move them. If your market is one of those, treat the row as our best reading of Google's grouping rather than as a quote from Google.

Search the table above for your country. Google names 45 countries explicitly and covers Latin America, North America and Sub-Saharan Africa as entire regions, which brings the total to 129. 56 countries sit inside a region Google lists country by country without being named, which is a documented no. The remaining 14 are in Oceania, which Google's region list does not mention at all.

Is Google for Jobs available in Albania?

No. Google lists Europe country by country, naming 14 countries, and Albania is not among them. Your job pages can still carry valid JobPosting structured data, and Albanian employers can still be billed, but the Google for Jobs search experience is not documented for Albania as of September 19, 2026.

Is Google for Jobs available in Australia or New Zealand?

Google's region availability list does not mention Oceania at all, so there is no documented answer. That is different from a no: Google makes no claim either way. We report it as undocumented rather than guessing. As of September 19, 2026, Google's documentation was last updated September 8, 2026 and still named six regions, none of them Oceania.

Is Google for Jobs free?

Yes. There is no fee to appear in the Google for Jobs experience. You add JobPosting structured data to your job pages, Google crawls them, and eligible postings can appear. What it costs you is the engineering to emit valid markup, keep it in sync with the visible page, and remove expired jobs promptly.

Why do my jobs not show up even though my country is listed?

Being in an available country only makes you eligible. The usual causes are markup that validates but disagrees with the visible page, expired postings left live, the same job reachable at several URLs, or pages Google has not crawled yet. Availability is the first gate, not the only one.

Does Google for Jobs work in every language?

Google does not publish a supported-language list alongside its region list, so language support cannot be answered from the documentation the way availability can. Practically, postings are surfaced to searchers in the region where the job is located, and the listing language follows the page.

What should I do if Google for Jobs is not available where I am?
