# Job feed

> Send your board's open jobs to job aggregators with a public XML feed.

Every board has a public XML feed of its open jobs at `https://yourboard.com/jobs.xml`. You submit that link to an aggregator, and the aggregator reads it on its own schedule. There is nothing to turn on.

Find your link under **Settings → Integrations → Job feed**.

## What's in the feed

The feed uses the `<source>` and `<job>` layout that [Indeed](https://docs.indeed.com/job-sync-xml/xml-feed) and [Talent.com](https://www.talent.com/integrations) document. It lists all your open jobs, newest first, with the full description. Each job's link goes to its page on your board.

The feed refreshes about once an hour.

## Options

Add these to the end of the link:

| Option | What it does |
| - | - |
| `?source=official` | Leaves out jobs your board collected from other sites. Some aggregators only accept jobs posted directly on your board. |
| `?email=you@yourboard.com` | Adds your contact address to every job. Indeed requires the address tied to your Indeed account. |

Use `&` to combine them: `https://yourboard.com/jobs.xml?source=official&email=you@yourboard.com`

## Good to know

* **Aggregators decide what they accept.** Each one reviews your feed under its own rules, so check with them before you rely on it.
* **Paywalled boards stay protected.** Jobs behind your paywall appear with their title, company, location and link, but not their description. Some aggregators may not accept a job without its full description.
* **Filling in the details helps.** Aggregators expect a city, state and country, so jobs without a clear location may be rejected.
